Shoreline Lake at Dusk captures the quiet, dramatic beauty of the lake just before the light fades. The sky took over — bold and alive — and for a while, nothing else mattered.

This is my first plein air painting. I almost didn't go. But once I was there, brush in hand, the dramatic clouds made me forget everything that had weighed on me on the way. That's what painting does.
